In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Excellent staff ratings — Guests consistently mention friendly, helpful, and courteous service, with staff willing to go out of their way.
  • Unbeatable location near Tamachi Station — A five-minute walk to the station puts you on the JR line for easy access to Shibuya, Haneda Airport, and central Tokyo.
  • Spotless, modern rooms — Even though rooms are compact, they are consistently described as clean, tidy, and well-equipped with quality amenities.
  • Great value for money — For a room in a prime Tokyo location, guests feel the price is fair, especially with free Wi-Fi and a business lounge.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Limited dining options nearby — The hotel is in a business district, so while there are convenience stores and small restaurants, choices are fewer than in entertainment hubs.
  • Slow internet — At least one guest found the Wi-Fi connection too slow for online research.
  • Small room sizes — Standard for Japanese economy hotels, but travelers expecting more space may find the rooms petite.
  • Facilities rating below other categories — While rooms and service score high, the overall facilities and dining get lower marks, suggesting the property is more functional than luxurious.

“The location was great, within walking distance of everything I wanted to see.”

8.2Verified guest

“I spent six nights here and loved it. The hotel is well-maintained, central, and close to convenience stores, the business district, and the city center. Everything was fine – I'd choose it again in Tokyo.”

8.2Verified guest

“Great location, just a five-minute walk to Tamachi Station. The room is small (typical for a Japanese economy hotel) but clean and tidy. Internet was very slow, which made searching online difficult. Staff were polite but seemed distant. Bottom line: not the cheapest clean small room in a good location, and for a few thousand yen more you could stay in a more proper star-rated hotel. I probably wouldn't return.”

8.2Verified guest

“Breakfast is great, the location is excellent, and it's quiet.”

8.2Verified guest

“The facilities were modern and excellent, and the staff courteous. I especially liked the business lounge with its 24-hour European-style coffee maker and massage chair. A minor downside: the front staff could have had better English skills.”

8.2Verified guest

“Service was exceptional – the staff were friendly, generous, and helpful. Our room was spotless, more luxurious than expected for the price, and so close to the station. Being in a business district, it was very quiet on the weekend, which was lovely. Convenience stores and small restaurants were nearby. We thoroughly recommend this hotel and would love to stay again.”
